Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure is seeking a Forklift Driver to operate heavy-capacity forklifts outdoors, move products, and safely load delivery trucks. You will work with yard, production, and office teams and interact with drivers and vendors to ensure efficient material flow.

The role emphasizes safe operation, accurate material handling, and daily forklift inspections while maintaining organized work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts in a manufacturing, construction, or precast concrete environment preferred.
• Ability to select and use the right forklift based on weight to load, unload, transport and stack material.
• Solid understanding of load capacities, weight distribution and safe rigging practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in outdoor production areas safely and in compliance with safety policies.
• Load, unload, transport, and stack materials according to depot and truck requirements.
• Move finished products and supplies from departments to yard or to trucks for loading.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and keep work areas organized and clean.

Description

The Forklift Driver is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. Working outdoors, our forklift driver moves products in and out of the shop and safely loads delivery trucks. You quickly become the product expert - knowing what things are, how they're loaded and where they go in inventory.

You’ll collaborate with the yard, production, and office teams, and interact with truck drivers and vendors.

A highlight of your day to day will include:

• Previous experience operating heavy-capacity forklifts in a manufacturing, construction, or precast concrete environment preferred.

• Choosing and utilizing the proper forklift, based on weight, to load, unload, transport, and stack material in appropriate areas.

• Basic understanding of load capacities, weight distribution, and safe rigging practices.

• Operating forklift in production areas in a safe manner, always abiding by the speed limits and safety policies.

• Moving finished products and supplies from departments to yard or to trucks for loading.

• Completing daily forklift inspections and keeping work areas organized and clean.
