Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving in our dairy production plants. You will organize products, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure accurate paperwork while prioritizing safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires English proficiency, the ability to work 8- or 12-hour shifts (including weekends and overtime), and prior forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Must understand and communicate in English; able to read safety signs and SOPs.
• Experience operating a forklift and handling warehouse tasks in a distribution environment.
• Must work 8- or 12-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate shipping and receiving of all products in the plant.
• Maintain organization in the warehouse and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Operate equipment safely and report malfunctions.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies at all times.
• Stage products for shipment and verify product labels and dates.
