Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Forklift Operator/Backup CDL-A Driver in Greenville, SC. The role primarily involves forklift operation, loading/unloading, and moving products in our offsite warehouse. It also serves as a backup CDL-A driver when the primary is unavailable, making short drops between the plant and nearby warehouse.

The backup driver typically handles 10–20 drops daily, with an extra $3.50 per drop. Valid CDL-A and forklift experience are essential, and accuracy in paperwork is required.

Qualifications

Must possess valid CDL-A license.
Experience with forklift operation and warehouse tasks.
No more than one traffic violation and no at-fault accidents on driving record.

Responsibilities

Backup for CDL-A driver when primary is unavailable.
Operate forklift for loading/unloading and material movement.
Load/Unload/Relocate materials per production/shipping requirements.
Complete all paperwork accurately and legibly.
Perform warehouse tasks and inventory transactions using barcode systems.
Make 10–20 driver drops per day between plant and offsite warehouse (0.3 miles).
Operate dock and other warehouse equipment as needed.
