Preferred Materials - Concrete Division, part of CRH South Division, is seeking a Forklift Operator in Florida to join a leader in construction materials. You will focus on safe operations and supporting efficient plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift or relevant construction experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and driving record review.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates the forklift to load and unload materials, and maintain organization of the warehouse and stock yard.
• Properly conducts inspections of the forklift to ensure safe operation and reports any issues to maintenance.
• Performs general clean-up and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Maintains a strict adherence to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Must be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
• Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and general public.
• Stands for long periods of time performing tests in hot weather or current conditions
• May perform other related duties as required or directed. Including to travel and work from other company facilities as needed

• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.

Qualifications
