Job summary

Britton Lumber Company, LLC is seeking a warehouse forklift operator for our Gray, Maine location. The role includes picking orders, performing daily forklift inspections, and loading/unloading between warehouses and flatbed trailers.

You will help with organization, cleaning, and general yard/warehouse upkeep. The ideal candidate has forklift certification and at least 2 years of experience, plus a team-focused attitude.

Pay Range: $19-$24 Per Hour

Britton Lumber Company, a regional building materials wholesaler, has an immediate opening for a warehouse forklift operator at our Gray, Maine location. This person will be responsible for picking orders, daily forklift inspection, loading and unloading of materials between warehouses and flatbed trailers, assistance in organization and cleaning of warehouse materials, and general yard and warehouse maintenance.

Ideal Candidate

Forklift certification with at least 2 years of experience preferred.

A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a team environment.

This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits including vacation and holiday pay, platinum health insurance plan, company paid long term disability and life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan. Traditional overtime of time-and-a-half is paid based on a 40hr work week.

Wage depends on experience.
