Job summary

Fettig Jobs is seeking a Forklift Operator for all shifts in the Grand Rapids, MI area. You will safely operate hi-lo equipment to move materials, load/unload trucks, and prepare workspaces for production.

RFID scanning may be used; a dusty environment is expected, and experience with hi-lo is required. We offer weekly pay, paid training, health insurance plans, a friendly team, a referral bonus program, and an easy hiring process.

Qualifications

• Hi-Lo forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

Job description

Forklift Operators needed for All shifts within the Grand Rapids, MI area!

Individuals in this role will be primarily responsible for safely and efficiently operating Hi-lo machinery to move material around a manufacturing facility. This may include, but will not be limited to loading and unloading trucks, moving raw material around the plant, transporting parts from one area to another, and preparing workspaces for production. Those with forklift / hi-lo operating experience are encouraged to apply!

Forklift Operator Shift Details:

• All Shifts
• Multiple schedules available
• Possible overtime
• $17+ per hour

Forklift Operator Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Move product safely and efficiently with hi-lo machinery
• Utilize pallet jacks and other material movers (not always hi-lo or forklift)
• Load/unload trucks
• Possible use of RFID scanners
• Prepare work stations with necessary materials
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted
• Willing to work in a dusty environment
• Hi-Lo experience (required)
