Job summary

NTN Bearing Corporation in Columbus, IN is seeking a warehouse associate to operate an electric tugger/forklift to load and unload components, move them to assembly lines, and return totes to the cage area.

You will ensure 5S, manage Kanban cards, verify part numbers against JDE labels, maintain stock levels, and communicate with rack and cage personnel. Prior forklift experience and a HS diploma are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for 5S (Sort, Shine, Set in Order, Standardize, and Sustain).
• Responsible for KANBAN cards and locations.
• Any missing KANBAN cards are to be reported to Supervisor or Team Lead daily.
• Verify part number and quantity vs JDE label.
• Understand that the component cage and racks are a controlled area.
• Assist with tote breakdown, skids, and baskets.
• Communication with rack & cage personnel for needed parts.
• Maintaining correct stock levels on assembly lines.
• Any other duties assigned by team leader or supervisor.
• Communication during shift change about pertinent information.
