Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking forklift operators. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Summary

Drives industrial forklift trucks to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive the truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated areas.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
• Inventories materials on the work floor and supplies workers with materials as needed.
• Keeps record of inventory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
