Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is hiring for a forklift operator at our Madison, AL location. The role operates on a 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs, 3:30pm-2:00am) with a starting pay of $21.72 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

You will handle forklift duties, wrapping equipment, and ensure accurate stock management and documentation. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months of forklift experience, and the ability to work overtime on short notice.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and manage inventory counts.
• Assist others to balance workload and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow safety and work rules; report forklift issues.
• Identify defects in incoming material.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
