Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Temporary to Permanent Material Handler in York, PA. The position offers weekly pay, on-the-job training, and safety gear in a clean, organized facility handling motorcycle and automotive parts.

Expect forklift operation, cycle counting, and basic yard-to-truck duties on a third shift. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift certification. Candidates with 1+ year warehouse experience and strong teamwork skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
