Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Richmond, VA is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (5:00 pm–3:30 am, Tue–Fri). You will load/unload shipments, move stock, and operate stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring exact counts and types.
• Keep records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy and report variances as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and facility in a neat, safe condition.
• Assist in physical inventories and daily inspections of equipment.
