Staffmark in Pioneer, OH is seeking a Forklift Associate to safely operate sit-down forklifts and related equipment while moving materials to production and shipping areas. The role requires attention to inventory flow, equipment readiness, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts and RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
• Deliver raw materials to production areas and remove finished products from lines.
• Load/unload trucks and stage inventory for shipping/receiving.
• Stage, label, and track inventory using scanners and systems.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
• Follow 5S and safety procedures; communicate shortages to supervisors.
