Job summary

Premier Packaging, Inc. is hiring for a Full Time forklift operator in Pedricktown, NJ.

You will safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move corrugated materials within the manufacturing facility, and assist in loading and unloading from trucks. The role requires 1-3 years forklift experience in a warehouse setting, familiarity with multiple forklift types, and basic math skills for inventory counting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
• 1-3 years forklift experience in manufacturing/warehouse.
• Experience with different forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, clamp).
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the facility.
• Load and unload corrugated materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift.
• Transport materials to production areas to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in inventory organization and regular cycle counts.
• Adjust to changing material handling requirements based on production demands.
• Coordinate with operators and supervisors to optimize workflow.
• Report issues or delays impacting production schedules.
