Job summary

Openwork is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Houston, TX. Pay is $18-$20/hour plus a $2/hour shift differential; schedule is 2:30pm - 12:30am. You will move pipe inventory, unload and verify shipments, and prepare orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include stacking, inventory control, safety compliance, and occasional overtime. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are preferred; background and drug tests required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down forklifts and side-loaders.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment to move pipe inventory.
• Unload, verify counts, and prepare outbound orders.
• Sort and rack steel pipe per company standards.
• Pull and package customer orders from stock.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow OSHA safety policies.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report issues.
• Overtime availability including Saturdays when needed.
