Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a forklift operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:15pm-1:45am with OT every other Friday) at our Anderson, IN client. The role pays $17.75 per hour and focuses on safe material movement and efficient department throughput.

You will move materials, operate a forklift, support inventory control, and keep work areas clean. Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and at least 1 year forklift experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods.
• 1+ year forklift experience.
• Working in and/or around loud machinery.
• Ability to handle repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

• Move materials within the department and to other departments.
• Assist coworkers with the department process and stage parts based on build schedule.
• Forklift operation.
• Department inventory control and reconciliation of inventory records.
• Control correct tagging and parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations through use of inventory control system.
• Remove cardboard and wood from plant, maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Cycle count parts as needed.
• Complies with all EHS and PPE policies and procedures.
