Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Willard, OH is hiring a Forklift/PIV Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm) at $20.00/hour. You will perform daily forklift checks, load/unload materials, and ensure inventory accuracy by scanning parts in and out of stock locations.

• Read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• Willingness to learn facility layout and procedures (Janus scanning, etc.).
• Knowledge of AS400 or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift.
• Loading and unloading parts or materials off trucks.
• Scan parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Keep lines stocked with the proper amount of parts; avoid overstocking.
• Abide by all safety policies and ISO standards & procedures.
• Ensure stock areas are neat and organized; use proper radio etiquette.
• Provide backup as needed and perform tasks as assigned by supervisor.

What You’ll Do

As a Forklift/PIV Operator, you’ll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You’ll get to:

Responsibilities / Authority

• Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift.
• Loading and unloading parts or materials off trucks.
• Scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Keep assembly lines and associated departments stocked with the proper amount of parts.
• Avoid overstocking lines or departments with excess inventory.
• Abide by all SBD Willard safety policies.
• Follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures.
• Ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized.
• Use proper radio etiquette.
• Provide backup as needed throughout the department as needed.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Zone Leader.
