This position is based in Tipp City, OH, within the Abbott Nutrition division, which develops science-based nutrition products for all ages, including brands like Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, and Glucerna. What You'll Work On

The Forklift Operator receives, stores, picks, and dispenses raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely and accurate flow of materials and supporting shipments. Responsibilities include loading/unloading with a forklift, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Implement and maintain quality system effectiveness
• Use Cambar RF inventory system for storing, picking, and assembling products
• Understand and utilize shipping/receiving documentation and RF terminals
• Maintain FIFO flow of products, operate forklift with attachments as needed
• Verify raw materials and finished goods against documentation
• Deliver materials to production lines timely and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse areas
• Stage labels for production and complete label control work orders
• Keep accurate records and reconcile inventory errors
• Follow safety guidelines and communicate safety and GMP concerns to leadership
• Supply materials to lines and move products as needed for shipping and receiving
• Comply with FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA, and Abbott regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical college courses in computer operations
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for infant formula and nutritionals
• Decision-making skills based on operational awareness
• Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
• Good communication, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills

The starting pay range is $15.55 – $31.15 per hour, with variations depending on location.
