Job description

Position Title: Forklift Operator
Reports To: Logistics Manager
Location: Tanner, Alabama


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unload and load material
  • Identify damages
  • Report shortages
  • Report quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw materials to product workstations
  • Inspect machinery
  • Determine the need for repairs
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 2 years of experience as a Forklift/tugger Operator
  • Must have 3 years of continuous work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment; and/or equivalent military experience.
  • Must be quality conscious, paying a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must have excellent hand and eye coordination.
