Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift in Raleigh, NC. This full-time, hourly role involves loading products from the main banding line, verifying load tags, and moving items to inventory or trailers while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, following safety policies, and ensuring orders move to the next operation. A forklift license and basic math/communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed powered industrial truck operator.
• Must be able to operate a lift truck safely with minimal product damage.
• Must be able to accurately scan load tags and maintain accurate inventories.
• Must be able to read and follow production schedules.

• Conduct daily inspections of equipment.
• Be constantly vigilant and maintain a safe & clean work area.

• Handle product to minimize damage.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

Overview:

• Receives product off the main banding line.
• Checks load tags and either loads the product into the specified trailer(s), or moves product into inventory.
• Moves product from inventory to machines.
• Completes the required paper work.

• The employee is occasionally required to sit.
