Job summary

Altium Packaging in Monroe Township, NJ is hiring a Forklift Operator to load, stack and retrieve supplies while following Good Manufacturing Practices. You will operate a forklift, monitor material usage, weigh materials, and support production lines with raw materials.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and current OSHA forklift certification. The role may require overtime and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have OSHA forklift certification.
• Experience with loading/unloading and stacking pallets.
• Ability to monitor material usage and maintain inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to stack and retrieve supplies and materials.
• Load trucks and secure product according to customer requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto/from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags or production schedules.
• Inventory product as needed and support production lines with raw materials.

Location Address:4 Pleasant Hill Road, Monroe Township, New Jersey 08831Work Shift:8hr-2nd Shift (United States of America) The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agenciesLoad trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirementsLoad and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting deviceMonitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materialsWeigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedulesKeep production lines supplied with raw materialsInventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie productUnload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting deviceOther duties as assigned by managementReasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Minimum Requirements:Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Current OSHA forklift driving certificationThe requirements listed above are minimum requirements for the job.
