Job summary

Diversified Foods and Seasonings, LLC in Madisonville, LA is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials and support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will operate forklifts, load/unload trucks, maintain inventory flow, and conduct basic equipment checks. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and tolerate standing for long shifts, with overtime and weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours, lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are correctly placed and safely transported.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by transporting materials to storage areas and monitoring stock levels.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
