Job summary

Keeprite Refrigeration is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator in Kilgore, TX. You will load, unload, and transport materials, pick/pack orders, and ensure accurate shipments while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, using scanners and shipping software, performing quality checks, and coordinating with carriers to meet deadlines. Prior experience in shipping/logistics is required; forklift certification is needed or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics required.
• Able to lift 75+ lbs in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience with shipping software (UPS, FedEx) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.

Role Description:

Keeprite Refrigeration is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operatorin the Kilgore, TX area. The job responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to...

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping instructions.
• Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain warehouse organization, keeping work areas clean and safe.
• Use scanners, inventory systems, and shipping software to prepare shipments and update records.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Work with team members and carriers to ensure on-time shipments.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics is required.
• Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
  
• Experience with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, etc.) is preferred.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Weekday overtime and occasional Saturdays, as required
