Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4PM-1:30AM). Reports to Shift Manager. Non-exempt position located in Fontana, CA.

Responsibilities include pulling weekly distributions, staging orders, operating forklift, and ensuring accuracy and safety in shipping and receiving. Ideal candidates will demonstrate reliability, adherence to safety policies, and professionalism while maintaining organized work areas and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a powered industrial forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

• Pulls product for all weekly distributions to stores.
• Prepares and stages orders for shipping.
• Operates forklift/order picker to transport inventory, unload stock and load orders.
• Ensures proper paperwork is completed before product is sent out to stores or events.
• Back stocks all incoming freight to respective bin locations.
• Assists with receiving incoming freight, new store/event receiving and tagging.
• Unload/load trucks.
• Monitors equipment and reports problems to supervisor.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Reports any forklift-related issues to supervisor/manager.
• Loads/unloads trucks when needed.
• Maintains high quality work, attendance, appearance and professionalism with customers, teammates, partners and vendors.
• Adheres to local, federal, state laws and company policies including OSHA safety guidelines.
• Performs any other duties assigned by management.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 4PM-1:30AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pulls product for all weekly distributions to stores.
• Prepares and stages orders for shipping.
• Operates powered industrial forklift/order picker to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders.
• Ensures proper paperwork is completed before product is sent out to stores or events.
• Back stocks all incoming freight to respective bin locations.
• Assists with receiving incoming freight, new store/event receiving and tagging.
• Unload/load trucks.
• Monitors equipment and reports problems to supervisor.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
• Responsible for reporting any issues related to the forklift equipment to direct supervisor/manager.
• Load/unload trucks when needed.
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, appearance and high degree of professionalism in communication and attitude with customers, teammates, corporate partners and vendors.
• Adhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices. These may include but are not limited to complying with the Company’s Time & Attendance policy and procedures and partnering with management to sustain workplace health and safety requirements according to OSHA regulations and the Company safety guidelines.
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
