Sika S.A.Chile in Gastonia, NC, is seeking a reliable forklift operator to safely move materials and support production lines. You will operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, load and unload materials, and ensure accurate material handling in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will verify quantities and labels, maintain inventory records, perform daily forklift inspections, and follow all safety SOPs and Work Instructions.

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and transport materials.
• Supply production lines with raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Verify material quantities, product IDs, and labeling before transporting or storing materials.
• Maintain inventory records and complete required documentation.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and Work Instructions, and communicate shortages or delays.

What We Are Looking For!

Shift hours - 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime on Saturdays; 3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:30am, Sunday - Thursday with overtime on Friday nights.

Safely and efficiently operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and transport materials throughout the facility. Supply production lines with raw materials, packaging supplies, and other materials needed to maintain continuous operations. Remove finished products from production lines and transport them to designated storage or staging areas. Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks as needed, ensuring materials are handled safelyand efficiently. Verify material quantities, product identification, and proper labeling before transporting or storing materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation. Ensure materials are stored in designated locations according to company procedures. Perform daily forklift inspections and report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately. Follow all company safety procedures, including forklift operation, pedestrian awareness, proper material handling, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions (WIs). Communicate with production personnel and supervisors regarding material shortages, delays, or other concerns. Assist with general production and warehouse duties as assigned.
