Job summary

WSI (Warehouse Specialists, LLC) in Wisconsin is hiring a non-rotating 1st shift Forklift Operator to safely handle materials and support customer needs. Schedule is 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with potential weekends, holidays, and overtime.

This full-time, benefitted role reports to the facility manager and offers pay increases at 6, 12, and 18 months, shift differential, and other company-paid plans.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.
• Ability to operate RF scanners to manage inventory.
• Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product handled.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Safely inspect, unload, and put away product from inbound trailers, containers, and railcars via lift truck.
• Operate a lift truck to pick orders and load product onto trailers, containers, and railcars.
• Utilize material handling technology to maximize efficiency and maintain inventory.
• Ensure all safety and position standard operating procedures are followed.
