Job Description:

Position Overview: Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp, or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in the distribution center or storage yard.

Shift Details: This is a weekday shift position – Tuesday to Friday, 5am – 3:30pm.

Compensation: Attractive hourly rate of $20.50/hour plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
  2. Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  3. Inspect assigned equipment daily.
  4. Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
  5. Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
  6. Stack and store products efficiently in designated areas.
  7. Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
  8. Move products from staging/storage into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  9. Ensure shipments are accurate and undamaged, report variances.
  10. Keep records and reports to maintain inventory control and security.
  11. Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
  12. Follow customer and safety instructions for loading/unloading.
  13. Coordinate with other departments like Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance.
  14. Practice good housekeeping and safety, report unsafe conditions.
  15. Follow GMP and report noncompliance.
  16. Observe all safety rules and assist enforcement.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of related experience/training or equivalent.
  2. Ability to complete post-hire assessments.
  3. Obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA).
  4. Wear PPE as required for safety.
