Position: Forklift Operator

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Safety:

Position Summary:

This entry-level forklift operator role involves loading, unloading, and processing products and materials efficiently and accurately using a forklift. All new hires will be trained and certified during orientation. Applicants may be considered for any forklift position on any shift.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of continuous work history with a single employer in the last 12 months (preferably 3 months forklift or warehouse experience)
• Full range of motion in arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, digits, and legs
• Ability to stand for long periods with good balance
• Ability to work with corrective lenses if needed
• PPE for hearing protection if required
• Cold Storage experience preferred
• Must pass health assessment and drug screening

Responsibilities:

• Move around work areas quickly, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, push, and pull as needed
• Follow Tyson policies and safety guidelines
• Work overtime and weekends as required
• Work in cold storage environments (-10 to 34 degrees)
• Stand or walk up to 100% of the time

*Prior Tyson employees must wait 90 days before reapplying. Employees with 3+ previous Tyson jobs are ineligible.
