Job Duties:

  • Ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods and materials into and throughout the plant by utilizing the material management systems in the KCK facility.
  • LEAN Manufacturing- Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line-side problem-solving. Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Scan inventory movement into Vehicle Mounted Units and interpret data output to pull systems' integrity.
  • Operate powered trucks following safety guidelines.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be willing and able to bend, twist, and stand for long periods.
  • Must be willing and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment, and require repetitive motions.
  • Must be willing and able to stand, bend, reach overhead, and twist for long periods.
  • Must be willing and able to stand 8-12 hours a day on a hard floor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of forklift experience and minimum of 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years.
  • Applicant must be willing and able to work the currently available shift(s), overtime, and weekends if required.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills. Ability to draw conclusions based on analysis of data from multiple sources.
