Job summary

RRD in Wisconsin is hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse/Forklift Operator to move finished product, stock materials, and stage items for shipping. The role runs 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour.

Operate forklifts, stage products, inventory control, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Must know how high, wide, and long the forklift truck and its load are, and how much the forklift truck can lift.
• Ability to judge doorway, aisle, shelf and bin dimensions for loads and clearances.
• Knowledge of storage-area layouts to locate and place items without detailed instructions.
• Skilled at moving forklifts in tight spaces and navigating ramps and railcars.
• Greater skill than Hoist Operator 1 in handling forklift controls and operations.
• Able to recognize whether a load can be lifted and is properly balanced.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains inventory of type, amount and location.
• Transports and processes manufacturing paper by-products.
• Performs daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs.
• May perform battery service duties and lubricate moving parts on trucks.
• Adheres to safety policies, including hazardous waste handling and LOTO.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
