Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 1st shift in Houston, TX. Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00AM–2:30PM with a wage of $20.00 per hour. Training and safety standards apply; background check and drug screening required. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more.

Must be safety-conscious with a pleasant attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. No prior experience required, high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking, and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control and ensure damaged products are identified and removed.
• Complete daily logs and attach identifying tags to containers.
