Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is hiring a Forklift Operator for a 1st shift (5am–3pm) at our Pennsylvania manufacturing site. The role requires forklift experience and a commitment to safety, with PPE usage and adherence to procedures. A pre-employment background check and drug screen apply.

Preferred qualifications include a forklift license, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to learn. You will operate equipment, support production, and communicate clearly with teammates under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift Licensed highly preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to lift/pull/push materials onto forks from elevated heights.
• Navigate plant areas including populated and tight spaces.
• Perform safety checks and assessments on product and materials.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Support team members through clear and concise communication.
• Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.

**Shift**1st Shift: 5am-3pm**General Duties**Forklift operating skills to lift/pull/push materials onto forks from elevated heights - navigates throughout plant, including populated and small areas.Perform safety checks and assessments on product and materials.Transport raw materials to production workstations.Support other team members through collaboration and clear and concise communication skills.Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.**Physical Requirements**Work with products up to 50lbs throughout the day.Constantly getting on/off lift truck to manually lift/slide/flip door skins.Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.**Preferred Qualifications**One year of Forklift experience.Highschool diploma or GED.Willingness to learn.**Disclaimer**Forte Opening Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
