**Position Summary**

The forklift operator transports materials, parts, supplies, and products, typically using a forklift.

**Role and Responsibilities**

• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set by the company.
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
• Inspect and perform maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
• Remove used items such as pallets and trash bins from production, packaging, or warehouse areas.
• Move parts, products, or other items physically or with equipment like forklifts or tuggers.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, pack sizes, and descriptions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Overtime opportunities may be available.
• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 3 years of forklift driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
