Job description

SPA, a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking Forklift Operators to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for driving a forklift truck, unloading incoming shipments, preparing and staging skids for outbound shipments, maintaining daily records of forklift maintenance, and ensuring safety.

Shift Hours

• 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday
• 3rd shift: 8pm-6:30am, Sunday night through Wednesday

Essential Job Functions

• Unload inbound shipments.
• Prepare and stage skids for outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate stock records and schedules.
• Stack and store merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure orders are filled and completed accurately.
• Oversee special orders and urgent after-hours shipping jobs.
• Maintain daily records of forklift care and maintenance.
• Select products for routes according to pick sheets.
• Transport goods from racks, shelves, and vehicles.
• Coordinate loading and unloading operations.
• Document and maintain equipment condition daily.
• Inspect manufacturing support systems daily.
• Update the maintenance database regularly.
• Review incoming shipment contents against purchase orders.
• Plan work to prevent accidents, checking load sheets.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Remove pallets and damaged products from trailers.
• Follow all food safety guidelines.

Skills & Abilities

• Ability to operate a forklift all day.
• Comfort working up to 30 feet in the air for order pulling or cycle counts.
• Willingness to cross-train in all warehouse functions.
• Maintain professionalism and positive interaction with teammates.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule, including overtime on short notice.
