Job Description

SPA, a TRG company and subsidiary of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking Forklift Operators to support our Milford, OH facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for driving a forklift truck, unloading incoming shipments, preparing and staging skids for outbound shipments, maintaining daily records of forklift maintenance, and ensuring safety.

Shift hours are as follows:
- 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- 3rd shift: 8pm-6:30am, Sunday night through Wednesday

Our Mission: To provide value-added solutions to our demanding customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Unload inbound shipments.
• Prepare and stage skids for outbound shipments.
• Maintain accurate stock records and schedules.
• Stack and store merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure orders are filled and completed accurately.
• Oversee special orders and urgent after-hours shipping jobs.
• Maintain daily records of forklift care and maintenance.
• Select products for specific routes according to pick sheets.
• Transport goods from racks, shelves, and vehicles.
• Coordinate loading and unloading operations.
• Inspect and document equipment condition daily.
• Inspect manufacturing support systems daily.
• Update the maintenance database regularly using computer workstations.
• Review incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Plan work based on load sheets to prevent accidents.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Remove pallets and damaged products from trailers.
• Follow all food safety guidelines.

Skills & Abilities Required:

• Ability to operate a forklift throughout the shift.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet for order pulling or cycle counts.
• Willingness to be cross-trained across all warehouse functions.
• Professional demeanor and positive interaction with teammates.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle various tasks.
• Flexible schedule with availability for overtime to ensure timely shipping.
