Job Title: Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Join Schnellecke Logistics as a Forklift Operator - 1st Shift.

Job Purpose

Operate a powered industrial truck to transport materials from the loading dock to designated warehouse locations.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks.
• Conduct daily inspections and document the forklift's condition.
• Inspect products for damage and scan them properly to ensure safe transport and placement.
• Drive propane or electric-powered trucks to move materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Position lifting devices under or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes, securing them for transport.
• Mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, platforms, or transport vehicles.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Wear Personal Protection Equipment at all times.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Pass a mandatory drug screening.
• Maintain a visible operator's license.
• Complete required training and certification for forklift operations.
• Pass a background check per company standards.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally for restocking purposes.
