M-F 5:45am - 2:15pm

The candidate will be required to work in warehouse areas, refrigerated areas and in freezers with temperatures of -30c or colder. The job requires the candidate to continually handle and move boxes and pallets both manually and with handling equipment. The candidate will be expected to be able to work and complete assigned tasks on their own without constant supervision while following established procedures.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures of -30C or colder
  • Ability to follow written procedures
  • Ability to use barcode readers
  • Capable of performing basic computer skills
  • Ability to receive and separate incoming plasma
  • Ability to identify and separate Special plasma
  • Ability to pull freezer work orders and alerts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment when servicing Classification
  • Ability to identify rejected plasma
  • Ability to stage freezer work orders and alerts
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow detailed directions
  • Ability to perform weekly cycle counts
  • Ability to load production runs and sales
  • Ability to prepare plasma for distribution by Air, Land, and Sea
  • Ability to receive customer samples and create sample reception form
  • Ability to receive Ocean container
  • Ability to prepare and complete Plasma Lot documentation
  • Ability to use forklift to store plasma in freezer using automated system

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience: Typically requires no previous related experience.

  • Knowledge of cGMP
  • Warehouse experience and lift truck certified
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
  • To be able to multitask in warehouse environment.
  • Possess good organization skills

The estimated pay scale for the Plasma Material Handling Operator role based in City of Industry, CA, is $20.02 per hour. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. We offer a wide variety of benefits including, but not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, up to 5% 401(K) match and tuition reimbursement. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
