Job Description

Schedule: Monday - Friday (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) with some weekend work and OT

Forklift Operator in Warehouse area

The Forklift Driver / Material Handler tasks include, but are not limited to, general housekeeping, cleanup, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operating a motorized forklift, along with other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

1. Must be trained and certified on the forklift.
2. Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling.
3. Proficient in the operation of stretch wrappers.
4. Must be proficient with a forklift on all operation lines.
5. Load trucks in the prescribed manner.
6. Ability to complete and modify pick sheets.
7. Communicate professionally with visitors and customers.
8. Basic operational knowledge of roll-up doors.
9. Understand inventory procedures.
10. Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations.
11. Ability to reconcile finished products.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Related Experience: Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge

Additional Information

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
