Forklift Operator - 12 Hr. Day Shift - Cold Storage Warehouse

Job Details

Work Hours: Day Shift: 5:00am-5:00pm. Work every other weekend.

Location: ICCS Operations, Harrisonburg.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment through personal actions.
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Check and count freight for accuracy and damage; take inventory as needed.
• Direct products to the correct areas within the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area by removing loose wood and plastic, sweeping as needed.
• Report faulty equipment, damages, and safety hazards to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of forklift experience (standup or sit-down) in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, but training will be provided.
• Familiarity with RFID technology.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Preferred Skills

• Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to read numbers and labels accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs. frequently.
