Forklift Operator - 12 Hour Night Shift (Finance)

Job Description:

Job Title: Material Handler

Schedule: 12 Hour Night Shifts (6:30pm - 7:00am), rotating days.

Basic Purpose:

The Material Handler is responsible for picking orders, loading/unloading cases of product to and from trailers and containers, ensuring order accuracy, inspecting cases and products for quality issues, supplying materials to production areas, shrink-wrapping stored or returned materials, and checking pallet tickets and loads for accuracy.

Essential Functions:

1. Supply materials to the line (35%)
2. Remove finished goods from the line (35%)
3. Perform SAP transactions (20%)
4. Conduct forklift required checks (10%)

Job Qualifications:

1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to understand, communicate, read, and write basic work-related English.
2. Experience: Must become certified to operate a forklift and pass a mandatory forklift physical.
3. Specialized Knowledge: Ability to identify finished products, perform SAP transactions, routine forklift checks, change forklift batteries with PPE, operate hoist, unload raw materials, bale plastics and cardboard, and take out trash.
4. Skills: Will be trained to perform various warehouse jobs based on skill level and physical demands.
5. Other: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP.

Physical Requirements:

• Rare lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure product quality in all orders.
• Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures.
• Certification to operate a forklift.
