Job summary

Beusa Energy Group in Ponca City, OK is seeking an entry-level Forklift Operator responsible for moving, lifting and packing raw material, and performing daily safety checks. You will also ensure safe vehicle use and report defects in a manner consistent with company policy.

Key duties include receiving and storing raw material, maintaining inventory records, and conducting cycle counts and location audits to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the proficient and safe use of the forklift in moving, lifting, and packing raw material. They will also ensure the safe and efficient use of the vehicle, perform daily safety checks, report defects, and securing and balancing loads.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Qualifications: POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.


• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.


• Successfully passes background check, pre employment drug screening, an any pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s) including pre employment Pulmonary Function Test (PFT.)


• In person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

• U.S. High School Diploma or GED equivalent certificate.


• Experience in a manufacturing environment not required, but highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

• Excellent speaking, writing and listening skills.


• High level of manual dexterity and good hand eye coordination.


• Strong verbal communication and problem solving skills.


• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.


• Capable of working in a deadline driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Daily required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. Work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (long sleeve shirt/jeans, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. Forklift Operators are regularly required to lift heavy objects; therefore, the Forklift Operators must be able to lift 49 lbs. independently and 50 100 lbs. with a team lift.

Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
