Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Material Handler at our Wisconsin facility. You will load/unload trailers, locate and transfer materials, and manage inventory using RF scanning equipment to support production lines.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid forklift certification, forklift driving experience, and strong spatial awareness for safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Experience driving a forklift.
• Good spatial awareness.
• Ability to operate and control equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Knowledge of handling and storing materials (material flow).
• Knowledge and experience with safe practices in driving a forklift.
• Availability to support coverage on any shift (as necessary).
• Overtime availability with minimal to no prior notification.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the vehicle for damages.
• Operating and managing technical equipment.
• Support other departments with their handling of material and/or equipment.
• For Receiving: Stamp receiver number and sticker incoming components.
• For Shipping: Remove shipping ticket from finished goods label.
• For Line Area: Supply production areas with material and empty containers on a timely basis.
