Job summary

Richardson is seeking a Forklift Operator at our Winchester, VA facility to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control within a pasta production environment. The role includes operating a forklift, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Prior forklift experience and food-manufacturing familiarity are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload, and transfer products, pallets, boxes, and other materials within the warehouse and into trucks and/or railcars according to shipping schedule; operate other equipment for shipping, as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory while storing and loading, practicing first in/first out.
• Monitor all equipment for wear and potential damage, and perform related preventative maintenance as required.
• Maintain Master Sanitation Schedules and other HAACP documentation, performing scheduled cleaning of equipment.
• Re-palletize and rework products, and prepare products for regrind process.
• Maintain safety and quality in a high-paced environment.

We currently have an opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Winchester, VA durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta. The Forklift Operator is a critical part of our warehouse team, responsible for shipping, storing, and receiving inventory as well as providing sanitation support for the entire warehouse.
