Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products within our warehouse environment. The role involves using powered industrial trucks to transport materials, load and unload trailers, and support inventory control.

The shift is 2nd shift (11am - 7:30pm) with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Candidates should have at least 1 year of warehouse experience and be eligible for PIT certification on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required/preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred; PIT certification upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, hand-trucks, etc.).
• Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated storage areas.
• Load and unload designated trailers and route trucks.
• Assist with inventory management and loss control.

Job Summary

A Forklift Operator moves product or materials in a warehouse environment using powered tools and vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

• Operates industrial vehicles and equipment (pallet-jacks, forklifts, hand-trucks, etc.).
• Transports raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to the designated storage areas.
• Loads and unloads designated trailers and/or route trucks.
• Assists with the management of inventory and product loss control.
• Adheres to the regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Fill in for other warehouse positions as needed.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior warehouse experience preferred
• Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.

Physical Requirements

• Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
• Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
• Mobility: Frequent travel throughout Heartland facility (walking in warehouse)
• Bending/Squatting: Constantly (picking up product, moving product)
• Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons.

Pay: $19.00 an hour
