Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products within our Kansas warehouse. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, transport materials to storage areas, and assist with loading, unloading, and general inventory tasks.

We require at least a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of experience, and a willingness to obtain PIT certification. This on-site role involves physical tasks and adherence to safety and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred; PIT certification upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Transports raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to the designated storage areas.
• Loads and unloads designated trailers and/or route trucks.
• Assists with the management of inventory and product loss control.
• Adheres to the regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Fill in for other warehouse positions as needed.

Job Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
• Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
• Mobility: Frequent travel throughout Heartland facility(walking in warehouse)
• Bending/Squatting: Constantly (picking up product, moving product)
• Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons.

Pay

$19.00 an hour
