Job summary

Marathon Staffing is seeking experienced forklift operators for Temp-to-Perm roles in Rowesville, SC. The position ensures safe, efficient material movement within the warehouse, maintains inventory, and upholds housekeeping standards.

Hours are 6:00 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday; Saturdays may be requested. Pay rate is $15 per hour. Marathon Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions in English.
• Ability to recognize material size/weight and follow directions.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide production with material from inventory as scheduled.
• Move material in process from one station to another as needed.
• Band, wrap, and label finished goods and materials.
• Assist with lumber pulling and operating on production lines when required.
• Move finished goods from production area to inventory.
• Identify safety issues and equipment malfunctions; report promptly.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies; maintain cleanliness.

Marathon Staffing is seeking experienced, reliable candidates for, Temp-to-Perm, Forklift Operator positions in Rowesville, SC!!!!

The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that product is moved within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner, that proper inventory is maintained, and good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide production departments with material from inventory according to production schedule
• Moves material in process from one station to another (if necessary).
• Bands, wraps and/or packs finished goods, and labels material.
• Assist with lumber pulling and working on production lines as needed.
• Moves finished goods from production area to finished goods inventory (yard or warehouse).
• Assist production with bottle necks and other material needs.
• Maintains rough material and finished goods inventory yard organized and clean.
• Follows forklift rules and policies as described by Company policy.
• Performs other duties, as required

Requirements include, but may not be limited to:

• At least 2+ years experience operating a Forklift
• Ability to recognize size/grade/quality of material
• Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions
• Demonstrate ability to stack material properly
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings
• Ability to identify safety issues in their work area, and notice equipment malfunctions
• Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English; ability read and write basic English
• Ability to frequently get on and off a forklift, to withstand operations in rough surfaces, to work in a wide range of weather condition, and operate a forklift for extended periods of time
• Demonstrated eye-hand coordination
• Ability to work under immediate supervision
