Lloyd Richards Personnel is currently seeking dependable, hardworking individuals for a Forklift Operator / Shipping & Receiving Associate position with one of our valued manufacturing partners. Responsibilities

• Operate sit‑down and/or stand‑up forklifts to safely load, unload, transport, and store materials throughout the facility.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by ensuring products are properly labeled, packaged, and documented for delivery.
• Transport raw materials to production areas and move finished goods to designated storage or shipping locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners, inventory management systems, or manual logs.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and promptly report any maintenance, operational, or safety concerns.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical inventory processes as required.
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping/receiving environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, production teams, and logistics personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required (sit‑down, stand‑up, or both).
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate material‑handling equipment in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners or inventory management systems are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
