A Blue Rhino Forklift Operator is responsible for inspecting and transporting propane cylinders by loading and unloading with a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. This position offers in-house OSHA certified training.

Responsibilities

• Transport propane cylinders safely around the yard with a forklift.
• Handle and maintain the flow of materials and products under safety guidelines.
• Work may require evening hours and weekends as needed.
• Complete and submit log sheets, BOLs, packing slips, and other paperwork as required.
• Document forklift inspection before shift start for mechanical safety and OSHA compliance.
• Inspect vehicle regularly and notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting production shifts with staffing needs when not operating the forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and pass necessary training requirements and exams.
• 1+ years of work experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Must be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States or authorized to work in the U.S.
