Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for our DC Southwest in Temple, Texas. This full-time evening position starts at 6:00pm, Sunday through Thursday, and offers comprehensive benefits after 60 days.

You will move products, follow placement rules, and enter shift activities into the system while upholding safety standards. As part of a long-standing logistics team, you’ll contribute to an environment that values teamwork, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift and RF scanner is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.

• Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour.
• Start time: 6:00pm Sunday - Thursday

What You’ll Do As a Forklift Operator

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating a forklift and RF Utility (preferable, not required).
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
