McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator for our DC in Ocala, FL. This full-time, overnight shift (3rd) involves operating stand-up forklifts to move products and place them in designated areas within our distribution center.

You'll work at heights up to 20 feet, follow safety protocols, and enter shift data into the system. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement within a safety-focused, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift and RF scanner experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift and move materials within the distribution center.
• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify products for sorting and placement according to guidelines.
• Enter shift data into the system accurately and on time.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and product or equipment damage.

The Forklift Operator uses industrial, powered, computer‑equipped stand‑up forklifts to move materials throughout the distribution center and place product in designated areas. You will need to be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet or more at times.

What You’ll Do As a Forklift Operator

• 10pm start time.
• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience operating a forklift and RF Utility (preferable, not required).
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
