Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced forklift operator in the Charleston area to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, load and unload shipments, and move goods within a busy warehouse. The role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while ensuring accurate inventory storage.

Qualified candidates should hold forklift certification, be able to lift heavy objects, and work well in a fast-paced environment on 1st or 2nd shifts.

Qualifications

Forklift Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced forklift operator/tanker filler for a company based in the Charleston area. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and efficiently performing various warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading.

Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

1st and 2nd shift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and deliveries
• Move products and materials throughout the warehouse
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Ensure inventory is stored accurately and securely

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift, standup forklift, cherry picker, and clamp in a warehouse or industrial environment
• Valid forklift certification/license is required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
